Chronic Disease Management: Fairfax County is offering a free chronic disease management program from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays starting this week at the Great Falls Library, 9830 Georgetown Pike. Fairfax Partnership for Youth Reception & Silent Auction: The public is invited for refreshments, drinks, art, music and networking at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Park Crest Club Room, 8220 Crestwood Heights in McLean. Volunteer Fest: Volunteer Fairfax is hosting a Volunteer Fest workday starting at 9 a.m. Saturday. Help maintain the Chesterbrook or Spring Hill living classrooms, designed to provide students with hands-on environmental education.
