Halloween Comes to Fairfax County, SPANX Booty Bash and More This Weekend

Five things in and around McLean to help get your weekend going.

SPANX Booty Bash: The hosiery line famous for helping wearers suck in their gut will host the event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the SPANX store in the mall on 1961 Chain Bridge Road. More info here.

Bach to Rock Open House: Bach to Rock McLean will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at 1440 Emerson Ave. Talk to teachers, try a demo class and more. Info here

Haunted trains. Go on a spooky ride in the 33rd annual Ghost Train at Burke Lake Park. The event is at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the park on 7314 Ox Road in Fairfax Station. Ride the train, get on the bounce house, take a ride on the carousel and more.

Boo! More Parks! Fairfax County Parks Authority has several other Halloween events this weekend. Pumpkin Patch at Nature Playce, Halloween Fest at Green Spring Gardens, Historic All Hallows Eve at Sully Historic SIte, Halloween Goblin Golf at Lake Accotink and more. Costs, times and locations vary.

Old School Halloween Party. Busy weekend at Jammin’ Java with a lot of shows planned, but we’ll keep with the Halloween theme and highlight the “All Souls Day” Old School Halloween Party presented by SNRG.
