BOO! Spooky Films, Rocky Horror Kick Off Halloween 2013
Halloween 2013 events are underway.
Halloween is more than just a day. And you can consider it unofficially kicked off already with the Spooky Movie International Horror Film Festival, which badlit.com has called "the world's premiere horror film festival."
It's just a short trip away, from Oct. 10-19 at AFI Silver Theatre , 8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, Md.
Too soon for the holiday? Wait a week. Hamilton Live, 600 14th Street NW in DC, is holding a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening on Oct. 19 at 10 p.m. Admission is free. (Note to diehard Rocky Horror fans who have been to the regular screenings in Raleigh, N.C.: No word on whether the Hamilton will feature an underwear run.)
