Great review. I wasn't interested, not because of the critics (I don't listen to them), I just…Read More wasn't. Now I am and will see it.

Gatsby took my breath away. From the beginning entrance...no from the first time i learned this was…Read More going to be a new movie i knew that i was going to love it. I love Leonardo i think it is a fantastic actor. He is in a way like Marilyn Monroe when she had a character she played it like no one else. She became the character so believable. That is how i see Leo. The graphics the flamboyant parties is how I imagined them to be. This is my favorite books of all time. And not i can say this is my favorite movie of all time. It was simply wonderful. It had me at the edge of my seat. It is heart breaking story. I say just give it a chance because it's full of surprises. The director put in some of the most beautiful pictures that i think came directly out of the book. The water front. The building, the town. The green light effect. All of it. Amazing.

Congratulations Jillian. This is all very impressive, including all those master classes. I've…Read More always liked Don Giovanni. I think I have seen 5 productions now. Like most people my favorite is the Il Commendatore scene at the end.

Last May Jillian Khoo was one of four McLean high school students who were chosen to perform on…Read More their instruments and receive cash awards at the monthly meeting of the Woman's Club of McLean. Jillian played the first movement of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor, accompanied on the piano by her father, Bernie Khoo. The McLean Connection noted that she performed "this popular and difficult piece in a highly professional manner."

Here is what area reviewers are saying about this production:
"Next to Normal demands that the…Read More characters be portrayed as unflinchingly real, even in the midst of their weirdness and stress and notwithstanding the stylization inherent in a musical. The MCP cast passes this test with flying colors, being utterly believable throughout. " Bob Ashby, Showbizradio.net
"It is a story of love, loss, commitment, worth, survival, and hope in the face of darkness. It is a compelling story about what it means to be alive and I strongly recommend that you see the McLean Community Players’ production of this show that won three 2009 Tony Awards and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is truly outstanding." Kim Moeller, DCMetroTheatreArts.com

Fabulous production. The acting in this show is top notch. Incredible lighting and directing. You…Read More really should not miss this show - I thought it was better than the one I saw a few years ago at the Kennedy Center.
