McLean Presbyterian Church
1020 Balls Hill Rd, Mc Lean, VA 22101
McLean Presbyterian Church is a large church with a homey feel. Not to mention, it has a veranda complete with rockingMore chairs where members can gather. Founded in Washington, DC in 1944, the church moved to McLean in 1960 just as dairy farms were becoming suburban communities. McLean Presbyterian, first located on Old Dominion Road, has grown and expanded with the community. The church opened its current building on Balls Hill Road on Christmas Eve 1989. The sanctuary has cushioned, curved pews giving it the look of a small amphitheater. Every seat has a great view of the simple altar. The church is located beside the Beltway but you can't hear the noise of the traffic. The church emphasizes biblical teachings and requires classes for new members.
