Accident on American Legion Bridge Sends Two to Hospital
A car and motorcycle collided on the northbound side of the bridge Thursday afternoon.
One lane of the northbound American Legion Bridge remains closed this afternoon following an accident involving a car and a motorcycle. According to Virginia State Police: At 2:36 p.m., Virginia State Police were called to a two-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of I-495 on the American Legion Bridge. A car and motorcycle collided. Both drivers have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One northbound lane of I-495 remains closed at this time.
