Burger 21 Joins 'Fast Casual' Bandwagon in Tysons
This burger joint was founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc.
If you think Northern Virginia already has its share of burger joints, think again. Tampa-based Burger 21, founded by the creators of the fondue franchise The Melting Pot, is planning on opening four new locations in the D.C. metro region, including three in Fairfax County. One of them will be located in Tysons Corner. "We have a great deal of franchising experience in the Greater D.C. area and look forward to bringing this fresh, new concept to residents in the surrounding communities," said Ray Patel, one of the franchisees who has signed on to develop the D.C. locations, in a press release.
