Joseph Wears His Technicolor Dreamcoat to the Alden Theatre

McLean Community Players Perform the Webber Classic

A rousing production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is playing at the Alden Theatre Friday. The McLean Community Players (MCP) is performing a revival of the 1982 Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic. Replete with 33 exuberant singers and dancers, the show is a lively hit. “Joseph” is a family-friendly show, based on the “coat of many colors” story from the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament. It begins in modern day, with a narrator telling the story to a group of children. As the story unfolds, the Biblical characters come alive on the stage.
