New president was installed at a Wednesday dinner.
A well-known McLean community volunteer became president of McLean Rotary Wednesday night at a festive dinner at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Jan Auerbach, who has spent the last 20 years volunteering for a number of nonprofit organizations in McLean and who joined Rotary only two years ago, was sworn in a president with her husband Irv and their son looking on. Auerbach created and helped organize McLean's first and highly successful Chocolate Festival that raised $25,000 in January.
