The McLean home of  Brig. General Lloyd J. Faul, US Army-Ret., a resident of McLean, Va, who died in March, appears on the House Hunt list today. Brig. Gen. Faul joined the military in 1946, beginning his career as a military policeman in the Army. In 1958, he transitioned to the US Army ordnance Corps and served two tours in Vietnam, before retiring as a Brigadier General in 1973. In 1995, he was inducted into the US Army Ordnance Corps Hall of Fame, according to his obituary in The Washington Post. Lloyd J. Faul's second career also began in 1973 when he joined the fledgling bread company, Vie de France Corp., where he worked until 1986. McLean September Sales

Below are the home sales most recently recorded by the Fairfax Department of Taxation in the two McLean zip codes, 22101 and 22102 for the entire month of September.  Statistics for the month of September include: 62 home sales were recorded and published, 20 homes were sold over $1 million and 32 homes/condominiums were sold under $800,000. The most expensive real estate sold was 1012 Founders Ridge Lane and the least expensive real estate sold was 1525 Lincoln Way No. 302A.   Source: The Washington Post
