2013 Puppy Bowl: Time, Where to Watch, Local Connections
The 2013 Animal Planet Puppy Bowl IX is the "cutest sports event of the year" and is on Super Bowl Sunday right before Super Bowl 47.
The ninth annual Puppy Bowl will again air before the 2013 Super Bowl. Check out the cuteness on Animal Planet from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. (ET) Sunday, Feb. 3. Puppy Bowl IX includes puppies from Virginia-based Bonnie Blue Rescue and other organizations. (Read about the Virginia connection to Puppy Bowl 2013 here.) The 2013 Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet will include, of course, 35 puppies in addition to hedgehog cheerleaders, the super-slow Cute Cam, a puppy hot tub for the athletes to rest their sore muscles and a kitty halftime show.
