Builder of McLean's $10 million Chateau Buys a New Home
Michael Darvishi, president of Noble Construction Co, has purchased a home just off of Swinks Mill Road near The Reserve. Darvishi is the neighbor who built the 16,000 square foot house on Balls Hill Road that looks like French chateau. He sold that mansion last year for $10 million. Darvishi purchased his new home from developer Larry D. Silver. According to Virginia Business: The Silver Cos. have been a major force in Fredericksburg’s development. Carl, the company’s founder, sold used cars in the late 1950s but switched his focus to real estate. His son, Larry, became president in 1972.
