French bakery now serving macaroons and other treats.
A little bit of Paris has come to McLean. On Sunday, French Bakery Paul opened its fifth Washington-area location - and first in Virginia - Sunday at the Tysons Galleria. Paul specializes in crusty French bread, pastries and gourmet sandwiches. But the real gems are the bakery's French macaroons. To see Paul's full menu, click here. The 2,600-square-foot location is just inside one of the main Galleria entrances, where Daily Grill used to be. In the spring, the store plans to have outdoor seating. If you have a hankering for an authentic French baguette, you won't need to catch a flight to Paris to get one. Soon, you can just hop over to Tysons Corner. The DC International reports that PAUL Bakery is opening a new location in Tysons Galleria. "After The Daily Grill vacated the property, it appears the space was split into two units. Ann Taylor took one part. Now, PAUL will occupy the other half. PAUL is currently looking for a manager. But there is no word on when it will open," the blog reports.
