Your Beliefs
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for you to inject your beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that your beliefs are on the record will cause you to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.

Politics
I believe in the people's right to know,  helping our veterans (heroes) and justice for all.

Did you delete the page? If yes, was it because I showed the hypocrisy of the incumbents?

The text of my comment:
Candidates share authority to remove their signs. Sadly, most politicians prefer to pass the cost to taxpayers. VDOT has higher priorities. Politicians are pulling public employees away from these priorities after they ignored established laws in the first place.
Kitty, I appreciate you want us to pester politicians who treat you with disregard. Bulova violated the law and now fails to remove her signs; she is not listening.

The Washington Post-Cost of the Central Administration Staff in Fairfax Schools

Typo in the first paragraph: it states million where you mean billion. I hope this helps.

It appears you got the two confused in your assertion that I am incorrect. Griffin, our County Executive, is retiring April 2012; Dale, our Superintendent, is retiring July 2013.

We are not replacing both in 2012, just Tony Griffin.
