Mutts Matter Rescue is a nonprofit, all-volunteer based rescue organization. We work in conjunction with shelters and other organizations to help save dogs on death row, strays on the street, and dogs in unsafe living conditions. We primarily adopt in the VA, MD, and DC region, but rescue dogs from all over the East Coast.

My name is Suzanne. I'm Director of Community Outreach for Mutts Matter Rescue, and a dog lover who hopes to bring attention to the value and importance of rescue, while showcasing some great dogs in need of a new home. Our dogs come in all breeds, shapes, and sizes, and I have a special interest in pit bulls and other bully breeds that are unfairly misrepresented and misunderstood in our society.
