Taryn Hermansen, Neighbor

A citizen of the world, Taryn Hermansen has lived in 6 countries and attended 8 schools.  She graduated from Brown University in 2009 with a BA in Psychology and Literary Arts (but promises not to psychoanalyze any readers).  After a year of teaching here in Northern Virginia, she found herself fascinated by education in this area and decided to pursue a career in writing about it.  Someday she hopes to return to school for a master's in journalism, but for now is content to settle in Chantilly with her husband and two cats (who think they're dogs).
