Our counselors and members of the FCPS Crisis Response Team will be available to meet with any students and staff who need support in dealing with this news. Understanding death, especially the death of a peer, can be a very difficult experience. For that reason, we hope that you will listen to your son or daughter as well as discuss with them their feelings and reactions to this tragedy. We are taking every step we can to be responsive to the needs of our students and their families. Keep us informed if there are ways we can support you. Please come to the Main Office between 10:00am and 3:00pm on Monday if you or your child needs to speak with a counselor. We will notify you when funeral services have been finalized.

On behalf of all members of the school staff, our deepest condolences are with Emylee's family and friends during this difficult time. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to call the school office at 703-714-5700.  Attached is an article to assist you as you help your teen through this difficult time.
