FFX Schools Chief Comes to McLean for Radio Show

Dale and panel to talk about Schools Discipline Policy

Fairfax County School Superintendent Jack Dale will join several of our McLean neighbors on the popular Kojo Nnamdi Show which will broadcast live this evening from the McLean Community Center.

 The first discussion of the evening will focus on how the coming of the Silver Line will affect McLean. The second portion will be dedicated to students and school discipline.

Our neighbors who are guest on the show include Jacque-Lynn Shulman, President, McLean Historical Association and President, Fairfax County Historical Association; Tom Jacobi, owner, Langley Photo and Digital; Jack Dale, Superintendent, Fairfax County Public Schools; Janie Strauss, Member, Fairfax County Public Schools Board of Education; Martina Hone, Member, Fairfax County Public Schools Board of Education; and Bill Reichardt, attorney, William B. Reichardt & Associates.

Nnamdi is also inviting the rest of us to join him   "for a lively and open dialogue about the issues of the day."  The two-hour discussion at the McLean Community Center will be rebroadcast the following day on the  The Kojo Nnamdi Show, a talk show produced by WAMU 88.5 that airs weekdays at noon.

This is one of  six Kojo In Your Community events this year. Kojo In Your Community is a series of new programs aimed at providing area residents with a forum to ask questions, make comments and share the view from their neighborhoods, says the show's website. 

Where and When: Tuesday, March 22, at 6 pm. at the Alden Theater, McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave. Latecomers may not be seated, so please arrive promptly.
