Good Samaritan Robbed at Tysons Corner Mall

Fairfax County Police are investigating a report of a Good Samaritan who had her car stolen at knife-point around 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Tysons Galleria Mall.

A 59-year-old Fairfax woman was approached in the Tyson’s Galleria parking lot of Neiman Marcus by a young woman who claimed she was out of gas and needed a ride to a station, police said.

The victim invited the woman into her vehicle but as she drove toward Route 123 the suspect produced a knife and told the driver to get out of the vehicle. The victim was left at the intersection of Old Courthouse Road and Route 123, police said.

Her vehicle, a 2003 silver Acura, Virginia tag XEK8095 has not been recovered. There were no injuries and police are continuing to investigate.

The suspect is described as a white female with large blue eyes, between 20 and 25 years old. She had brown hair below her shoulders and was around 5 feet 5 inches tall.  She wore a black hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants. She told the victim that she was a college student.
