Alert: Most of Dulles Connector Road in McLean to Close Tonight at 10

The two right lanes of the eastbound Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) east of Tysons Corner between the Margarity Road and Idlywood Road bridges have been reopened to traffic.
 
The lanes were shut down just after 3 p.m., when a truck boom/crane working on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project  tipped over and blocked the two lanes.
 
However, the two eastbound lanes and the inside lane of westbound Route 267 will be closed in the area between the Magarity Road and Idylwood Road bridges beginning at 10 p.m. tonight.  The lanes will reopen no later than 5 a.m., Wednesday, March 14.
 
The closings are needed to allow crews to right the truck. Police will be on site during the closures to ensure motorist safety.
