Beltway & I-66 Lanes Closings Cancelled Through Sunday
No reason given for cancellations
The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project which is building the new subway line through Tysons Corner has cancelled the closures of the three right lanes of northbound I-495 (the Beltway) at Route 123 scheduled for Thursday-Sunday night.
In addition, the previously announced overnight closure of westbound I-66 at the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) is cancelled for the remainder of the week.
No reason was given for the cancellations. The lanes were closing for the construction of the subway track that soars over the Beltway.

Weather permitting, the I-495 lane closures are expected to resume next week from Monday -Friday, 11pm-5am.
