Dulles Corridor Metrorail construction will continue to implement lane closures on the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) overnights next week. These closures are necessary to complete the last stretch of the aerial guideway (flyover bridge) that crosses both highways. Traffic is not allowed to flow under active construction for public safety reasons.
From Monday, April 30 through Tuesday, May 1, the left three lanes of eastbound Route 267 will be closed overnight from just west of the Trap Road overpass to Route 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and the ramp from eastbound Route 7 onto eastbound Route 267 will remain open.
Overnight crews will implement a full closure of eastbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) in the same location beginning Tuesday, May 1 through Friday, May 4.
All lanes of eastbound Route 267 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday. The rightmost lane of the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) will also be closed during this time. The temporary lane shift is expected to be implemented in the overnight hours Monday through Thursday.
Crews will implement the closure of the intersection of Leesburg Pike (Route 7) and Spring Hill Road between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., Friday, May 4, to allow for road shift work on Route 7.
Left Turn Lanes from Westbound Route 7 on to Westwood Center Drive to Close Overnights
Acoustical panel installation will cause the left turn lanes of westbound Route 7 on to Westwood Center Drive to close nightly beginning Monday, April 30 through Thursday, May 3 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Friday, May 4, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Intersection of Route 7 and Westpark Drive/Gosnell Road Closed Overnights
Crews will install acoustical panels over the intersection of Route 7 and Westpark Drive/Gosnell road overnights next week, causing the intersection to close between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 29 through Thursday, May 3.
Thru traffic along both directions of Route 7 will be allowed, but thru traffic on Westpark Drive/Gosnell Road will not be allowed, and will be detoured by using Route 7
Capital One Entrance to Remain Closed Overnights Thursday through Saturday
The main entrance of the Capital One campus in McLean will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5 for utility work. To access the Capital One campus, use the alternate entrance via Scotts Crossing Road.
This entrance also will be closed over several weekends as crews continue work at that intersection.
Daytime Lane Closures on Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) to Continue into Late Summer
Construction activities on eastbound Route 267 will continue into late summer as crews complete work on the retaining walls and begin construction of a new shoulder area between the rail and road. Expect to see intermittent delays on this route due to daily lane closures and look for alternate routes if possible.
Pile Driving to Continue at Tysons West Station
Crews have begun construction of the foundations for the pedestrian pavilions for each of the Tysons Corner Metrorail Stations. Pile driving will continue at the Tysons West Station north pavilion at the corner of Spring Hill Road for about a week before moving on to the other side of Tysons West Station.
Pile driving can generate significant noise. The activity drives steel piles into the soil to build foundations for pavilion structures. The pile driving will be performed between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and the occasional Saturday.
